Dr. Philippe Benoit

DVM, DACVSMR. Equine sports medicine and lameness expert.

An internationally renowned leader in equine sports medicine and orthopedics, Dr. Benoit graduated from the École Nationale Vétérinaire d'Alfort in 1989 and founded the Clinique Equine des Bréviaires near Versailles. He served as official veterinarian for the French show jumping team from 1992 to 2000 and as team veterinarian for Saudi Arabia at the 2012 London Olympic Games.

He has served on the FEI Veterinary Committee, co-founded the International Sport Horse Veterinarians Association, and lectures on diagnostic ultrasound, sports medicine and lameness around the world.

Dr. Russ Peterson

DVM, MS, DACVSMR, Cert. ISELP. Director of Sports Medicine, Menlo Park.

Dr. Peterson earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of California at Davis in 1979. He helped establish veterinary supervision and standards for AERC endurance competition from 1979 to 1990, was a founder of the Association of Equine Sports Medicine in 1984, and is a founding member and board member of the International Society of Equine Locomotor Pathology.

Dr. Sandrine Serfaty

Med. Vet. Equine sport medicine veterinarian and animal wellbeing expert.

A passionate rider herself, Dr. Serfaty has worked with top sport horses around the world for over 30 years and has been part of the official teams at World, European, Mediterranean and African Championships and the Olympic Games. Her training extends to integrative techniques including acupuncture, thermography and kinesiotaping.

Dr. Alan Donnell

Equine veterinarian and lameness specialist. Pilot Point, Texas.

A native Texan and 1984 graduate of Oklahoma State University, Dr. Donnell founded La Mesa Equine Lameness Center in Pilot Point, Texas, where he has spent more than 25 years focused on the diagnosis and treatment of lameness and performance related injuries. Clients travel from across the United States and around the world for his expertise.
