Performance horses have been bred for their discipline, and their backs have changed with them. Leson redesigned the bars of the saddle tree for the best possible fit for the modern horse.
Noted equine sports medicine veterinarians agree, the light weight and advanced bar design of the Carbon Competitor contribute to the performance of the horse.
Advanced seat design
The exceptional strength of the carbon fiber allows for a seat design that places the rider 50 percent closer to the horse, so the rider can adopt the best position to communicate with the horse.

Carbon fiber tree
One prepreg carbon fiber tree containing 52 machine threaded inserts.
Stainless hardware
Fifty two stainless steel machine screws.
Skirting leather
Two sides of number 1 graded vegetable tanned skirting leather, boned and hot stuffed with natural oils and waxes.
Welded D-rings
Four stainless steel welded D-rings.
Linen thread
One hundred twenty feet of pure flax, beeswaxed linen thread.
Wool shearling
One premium wool shearling.
